Wider Videocard Support For Oblivion

The Oldblivion mod allows for pre-DirectX9 videocard support for gamers with lower-end systems to play Oblivion.

A modding group has released a third party modification for the popular role playing game Oblivion, called Oldblivion. The file allows for gamers who have videocards that are "pre-DirectX9" to run the game. Specifically speaking, the expanded compatibility will allow for cards like:

• Geforce 3 series
  
• Geforce 4 series
  
• Geforce FX 5200 series
  
• Geforce PCX 5300, Geforce FX 5500
  
• Geforce FX 5700 series
  
• Radeon 9550, Radeon 9200 series
  
• Radeon 9000 series
  
• Radeon 8500 series
  
• SiS 760 (working with some issues)
  
• Geforce FX 5100 GO (working with some issues)

The modding group leaves a predictable disclaimer saying that because Oldblivion is in no way affiliated with Bethesda that they are not responsible for this file making your computer explode. That said, get the mod from Oldblivion.com.
