Today Ubisoft has announced, detailed, and sent screenshots for Storm of War: Battle of Britain, which is slated to come in November 2006 for PCs worldwide. Ubisoft has stated that they hope to create an enduring series of war-based flight sims with Storm of War: Battle of Britain, banking their success on the skilled Maddox Games development studio.
In Storm of War: Battle of Britain, players will take to the skies during the famous Battle of Britain. Using classic World War II planes, the game offers a variety of historical missions through solo campaigns or online combat and cooperation. To pump even more replayability into Storm of War: Battle of Britain, the game includes a new 3D engine and damage model technology.
