North American games publisher Strategy First announced this week the completion of Alliance Future Combat (
first details), a 3D RTS set in the near future. The quasi sci-fi game features a rather creative interpretation of the Far East, one in which the countries of Iran, Afghanistan, India and China become the Democratic Republic of North Dzambystan. The game features some 20 combat missions against the modern threat of terrorism, a combined 70 units and infantry classes, voice control of units, and a one-track focus on combat rather than resource gathering or base building.
