A new pictorial of Great Invasions was released this week by publisher Strategy First, who recently signed the game to publication in North America. The new pictorial shows off much of the new game, set amid Europe's Dark Ages between the fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of Western civilization during the Middle Ages. Great Invasions is provincial-level grand strategy game similar in style and play to Europa Universalis, but it covers a much earlier type period. As such, it offers players of this new game some 700 years of history to enjoy, which include 3,700 key historical figures, 150 historical scenarios, multi-population management, the control of challenging conflicts, multiplayer support and much more.
Strategy First confirmed in Wednesday's announcement that the publisher would push out the game sometime in July.
