Set in the Star Wars universe, First Strike is a full conversion of EA's first-person shooter, Battlefield 2142. Release 1 is now available for download and a second release is planned to include additional content at a later stage. In development since late 2005, First Strike takes place after the fall of the Republic and at the height of Empire and the Dark Lord of the Sith's power. The mod includes several character classes representing both the Rebel and Imperial forces, many different air and land combat vehicles and a galaxy of weapons dependent on the scenario and faction.
