First Strike BF 2142 Mod Available

First Strike, a full conversion for Battlefield 2142, features all the action, characters, droids and weapons a Star Wars fan could want and is now available to download.
Set in the Star Wars universe, First Strike is a full conversion of EA's first-person shooter, Battlefield 2142. Release 1 is now available for download and a second release is planned to include additional content at a later stage.
In development since late 2005, First Strike takes place after the fall of the Republic and at the height of Empire and the Dark Lord of the Sith's power. The mod includes several character classes representing both the Rebel and Imperial forces, many different air and land combat vehicles and a galaxy of weapons dependent on the scenario and faction.
The 878 MB client file can be downloaded from several mirrors listed on the First Strike webpage.
