Congress is considering the Video Game Ratings Enforcement Act, a law which would require an ID to buy games of an M rating. Interestingly, Cnet notes, "And interestingly, just after the bill was introduced, the Federal Trade Commission on Thursday released the results of a new "undercover" shopper study, which found the number of incidents of stores selling M-rated video games to teens has plummeted since 2000."
