Grognard Simulations announced today that their latest wargame Pacific Islands Campaign - Pelelieu/Angaur is ready for purchase. The fourth title in the Pacific Island Campaign series, Pelelieu/Angaur forcuses on the 1st Marine Division and the 81st Infantry Division fighting for one of the toughest islands in Japanese control. In a campaign that was supposed to last two weeks, the end result was two months of hard fighting that led to 11,000 US casualties, higher than the Japanese casualties (10,500).

The game includes four 11x17 maps, with some scenarios only using two, along with the necessary charts and play aides. The game will sell for $50 and orders are being taken now, with copies being shipped on November 30, 2011.
