Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Studios announced today the release of the latest expansion for Magicka, titled The Stars are Left. In this expansion, the players and their wizards are shoved into a horror-mystery campaign that also overhauls the game engine. Players will not only face death (and lots of it), but also unspeakable terror as they must team up with their allies (if they so choose) to fight their way to the end.

Magicka: The Stars are Left is available on all major digital distribution platforms for $5.99, and also has the feature of players playing the expansion if they are teamed up with someone who does have the expansion downloaded.
