Kalypso Media announced today the official release date for their upcoming tactical role-playing strategy game Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. The official release date for the North American launch has been set at February 14, 2012.

Jagged Alliance: Back in Action puts players in command  of a private military corporation that has been hired to take down an evil dictator who rules the island nation of Arulco. Players and their mercenaries must recapture Arulco sector-by-sector utilizing firepower, strategy and even the help of local rebels with diplomacy.

Combining the innovative "plan & go" combat system that links real-time strategy with turn-based elements allows players to make tactical decisions in a dynamic situation and combat. Players will also manage their mercenaries with RPG-like character development to level up skills and abilities.
