Matrix Games, Slitherine, and Panther Games announced today the release of Command Ops: Highway to the Reich, the first expansion to the well-known strategy Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge. In Highway to the Reich, players assume command of the Allied offensive during Operation Market Garden, as they try to capture a series of  bridges in Holland to speed up the end of the war against the Axis.

Players will take on scenarios that cover every major engagement along Hell's Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe's Bridge by the Irish Guards to the final battles on the "The Island" south of Arnhem. Players will also participate in commanding the parachute and glider landings of the U.S. 82nd and 101st Airborne, the British 1st Airborne and the Polish Brigade, all in some of the largest maps ever created for the series. Highway to the Reich also features the largest "campaign" scenario on the system to date, a sure plus to grognard generals.

Command Ops: Highway to the Reich is more than just an expansion, it is a major update of Panther Games' ground-breaking classic game Highway to the Reich. The expansion features numerous corrections to maps, orders of battle, unit compositions, reinforcement schedules and overall gameplay.
