Matrix Games, Slitherine, and Zeal announced today the release of the teaser trailer for their upcoming strategy game Team Assault: Baptism of Fire, which is currently in its final stages of development. Team Assault: Baptism of Fire is set to release later this month on February 24, 2012.

In Team Assault: Baptism of Fire, players take command of infantry squads to engage the enemy in an objective-control system, using their tactical expertise and the geography to assist them. Team Assault: Baptism of Fire is presented in 3D, allowing players to navigate and study the field for these important tactical assaults. The combat system, while turn-base, the gameplay can be as dynamic as the player wants, with dynamic turns, counter-actions, and continual feedback to keep players informed of what is happeneing on the battlefield.
Team Assault: Baptism of Fire sports an in-depth combat system that favors realism and exciting gameplay. Stats such as weapon accuracy, penetration, cover versus weapon penetration, recoil, encombrance, and wounded soldiers are some of the included features, alnog with a near limitless amount of customization options. Team Assault: Baptism of Fire will also include a map editor and force creator, allowing players to make new battles and design new squads to fit their style.
