Paradox Interactive announced today that their upcoming turn-based strategy/RPG Crusader Kings II is now available for pre-order, along with the release of a demo. Players can also get bonus content for pre-ordering in the form of two DLC packs.

Available on February 14, 2012, Crusader Kings II focuses on being a ruler in Europe, managing alliances, enemies and hoping your own vassals don't attempt to evict you from the throne with a knife in your back. Players can lead the nation through the ruling of an iron fist, or through respect and loyalty, it is all up to them. Crusader Kings II is developed by the same team that did Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron series.

For those that pre-order, players will get two DLC packs, Mongol Families and Dynasty Shield, both which add new characters, new sprites for units and new shields for families.
