World of Tanks Update 7.2 Released
New update brings new vehicles and battle arenas.
Wargaming.net (www.wargaming.net) announced today the release of the 7.2 update for their critically-acclaimed tank-action MMO World of Tanks. The update contains a set of new vehicles as well as new battlefields for players to duke it out on. Most importantly for new players, a new tutorial was added to help with their transition into the game.
The update adds the long-awaited branch of U.S. tank destroyers with rotating turrets, as well as 22 all-new skills and perks for players to master. One of the significant changes is the replacement of top-tier American heavy tanks T-34 and T-30 with the M-103 and T-110E5, putting the T-34 into tier-8 as a premium heavyweight and the T-30 as the new top line of tank destroyers.
"We introduced a French update into World of Tanks a few months ago, and now it's North America's turn," said Victor Kislyi, CEO of Wargaming.net. "We've completely reconsidered the set of crew skills in Update 7.2, which will bring a more realistic experience to our players and keep them engaged."
Also included on the update are two new maps, the Italian Province and American Live Oaks, both their own touch of atmopshere and uniqe setting.
