The LITE version is limited to single player mode, and includes one map from 1861, one battlefield, and one difficulty level (easy). Like in the multiplayer mode, the Mexicans and Indians are missing, as well as the weather feature.

Like the original, North & South – The Gamefor the iPad scores points with its charming graphics, which were translated into a contemporary style for the new adaptation, a unique sense of humor, and cleverly combined strategy and action elements.
An extensive single player campaign leads the player through the years of the Civil War. Various features such as weather, ships, western towns, Indians, and Mexicans influence game events, and require the player to adapt his or her strategy accordingly.
