No updates in a while I know, and there have actually been quite a
few exciting developments in the flight sim community. I should have
more time to dedicate to the site now that I just finished my private
pilot ground school and just have to take my FAA written in about a
week.
In a nutshell, the few exciting things that have happened in the
meantime are:

It looks like there will be a demo released for Lock-On: Modern Air
Combat (LOMAC) sometime next week. However, this fine PC simulation
looks like it will not be released until December 2003 for additional
refinement.

Whew! The Wargamer has had server issues, and now I finally have my ftp
access back! It is still having a few issues, but hopefully will back
full swing soon. Either way, not a whole lot has happened in the
meantime however, except two important patches have been released!
- Get the IL-2
Forgotten Battles patch that has just recently been released! This
patch is 40MB, but addresses a ton of sound and graphic issues, and
also adds a dynamic campaign generator with improved support
- The Red Baron 3D Full Canvas Jacket Patch has finally been
released! This is an unofficial patch developed by a fan of the game
that took several years to complete, but it makes it into an entirely
new game. Visit the
Full Canvas Jacket site for more information, and to purchase the
upgrade.
You will need to pick up the original Red Baron 3D first though in
order to play, and more than likely the "Sold-Out" version is the one
most readily available. Unfortunately there are issues with installing
it on WinXP. Visit my page

G2 Interactive, the new company that purchased the rights to the Falcon
universe have
stated that they will be making an announcement regarding the future
of Falcon: Operation Infinite Resolve and Falcon V. Stay tuned!
