SPCamo Workshop released SPWW2v5.5 Upgrade which contains 63 NEW scenarios and 3 additional campaigns. As well, you'll get upgraded OOB's, additional vehicle Icons and code bug fixes. Also added is the new unit cross attachment feature found in SPMBT and the additional Waypoints plus a new MOBHack which has the "Find" feature of the SPMBT MOBHack.

Also SPMBTv1.01 Patch is now available - it contains a large number of OOB corrections as well as code changes to fix a Y2K bug in the campaign generator. You will also find 1 new scenario included. The SPMBTv1.1 Patch MUST be patched over SPCamo Workshops SPMBTv1 Preview Edition.

Steel Panthers: Main Battle Tank - The king is dead! Long live the king! Time has finally come to retire our old SP2 including all those modified MOBs, LBMs, SHPs etc (and start working on brand new modifications!). Great work SP Camo team!

Sadly, nothing new from the 'frontlines'. While waiting for SP: MBT to be released here are some helpful links and tips for die hard SP players:

• Sandbox by Bob Roger telling how to Run DOS Games On Windows XP
• MySlow beta - similar to MoSlow, slows down SP to playable speed on new  PC with few extra GHz

Also possible sound problem fix from Markus Salo, Sweden:

"I think I've found a way. The problem seemed to be WinMe sound drivers. When I installed W95 SB drivers to my computer, the game started to work without any problem. All versions work, SP I, SP II, SP III, SPWW2 v 3 and V5."
