List of known problems and solutions:
- No sound - if you have some newer
sound card (especially if its PCI) make sure you have the latest drives.
- From Markus Salo, Sweden:
"I think I've found a way. The problem seemed to be WinMe sound drivers.
When I installed W95 SB drivers to my computer, the game started to work
without any problem. All versions work, SP I, SP II, SP III, SPWW2 v 3 and
V5."
- Steel Panthers 2 crashes after patch - make sure you delete old
steel.prf from steel2/save directory
- Running SP under Win 2000, Me, XP - haven't found a way yet, only
solution so far, beside keeping your old Pentium 1xx, s to have Win98
installed on C: while Win 2000/XP on D: drive and reboot each time you
want to play.
- My PC is too fast:
- MySlow
beta - similar to MoSlow, slows down SP to playable speed on
new PC with few extra GHz
- Adding new campaigns in SP3 - same as scenarios you simply copy them
into /scen directory, only difference is that SP3 keeps list of campaigns
in single file - campuser.dat - which will each time you add new campaign be
overwritten so only original campaigns and last one you added will be available
to you to select and play.
Best place to ask for help are mailing
