Order of Battle: Pacific expansion Morning Sun on the way

Order of Battle: Pacific was released earlier this year on PC/Mac to near universal acclaim and it's only going to be getting better in 2016. Slitherine and The Artistocrats are releasing a new expansion for Order of Battle: Pacific called Morning Sun that will chronicle the Second Sino-Japanese War that began in 1937.

This expansion will contain 11 new scenarios: Beiping-Tianjin, Operation Chahar, Shanghai, Xuzhou, Lanfeng, Wuhan, Nanchang, Changsha, South Guangxi, Guandong Offensive, and Chongqing. It will also introduce nearly 100 new units such as biplane fighters and bombers, Soko Sagyo Ki flamethrower-equipped engineering vehicles, and Type 89 medium tanks. The Chinese come equipped with a gaggle of foreign equipment such as Soviet Polikarpov fighters, Tupolev bombers, and German Panzer I's. Nations will also have access to horses for cavalry and horse towed heavy guns.

The expansion will also introduce the ability for players to build airstrips where they choose, and a new terrain type: rice fields.

We haven't received an exact release date, yet, but you can pick up the base game of Order of Battle: Pacific for PC/Mac here

No trailer for the expansion, so you'll have to do with the release trailer for the base game.
