Scourge of War The Battle of Pleasant Hill April 9th, 1864; 150th Anniversary

150 Years ago the Battle of Pleasant Hill was fought. It was the second major engagement of the Red River Campaign and was a follow up to the previous days Battle of Mansfield (see http://wargamer.com/article/3571/after-action-report-scourge-of-war-the-battle-of-mansfield-april-8th-1864 for an AAr of this action) which was a spectacular victory for the Confederate States of America.
