Giving his first interview in seven years, Gary Grigsby joined Joel Billings when both recently sat down with The Wargamer to discuss their upcoming game, War in the Pacific. In it, they shared insight not only into its development, but also on what motivated them to get into game development and how they have seen wargaming grow and change over time. The interview was wide-ranging, with a discussion of their all-time favorite game, to what it was like during the 1980's when it was possible to design and develop a game single-handedly, including all of the artwork. Today's games are much more complex and The Wargamer was able to get the inside scoop on the challenges and goals of War in the Pacific, including how it will compare to their most recent award winning release, Uncommon Valor.  The interview will be published in a series of parts, appearing on The Wargamer throughout the month of June.
