Here at Wargamer, we've spent the last few days compiling a list of the best Black Friday board game deals out there. Whether it's a fast-paced competitive card game like Love Letter, or a single player horror movie experience like Final Girl, there are games of all kinds that are currently going cheap. If you're looking for an unusual genre-bending experience, then Twisted Cryptids could be for you, and it's currently available for just $10 (£7.55).

Twisted Cryptids was developed by Unstable Games (the designers of titles like Unstable Unicorns, Here to Slay, and Casting Shadows). It casts players in the role of shy cryptids like Bigfoot and Mothman, hoping to hide away from the world.

Players scatter hiding spots across the board, where their particular cryptid might be tucked away out of sight. Humans of three kinds (either hunters, hikers, or researchers) then travel across the map, with players manipulating their actions by luring them closer or scaring them away.

If these monster-seekers can be baited into revealing decoys, silhouettes, and hoaxes, then you can start racking up points and proving that you're the most infamous urban legend of them all.

There are also two expansions available. Cryptid Culture adds monster worshipping cultists to the game, while Ness is More adds the Loch Ness Monster and the Chupacabra as playable cryptids.
