Don't forget for painters on a budget craft paints such as Apple Barrel are perfectly acceptable and can usually be had for .99 for much more than you get in a Vallejo bottle. I use a mix of craft paint and Vallejo.

I have been using FolkArt and Apple Barrel since the start of my painting( over 20 years ago). They work very well.
