Well, Field of Glory II for computers is now out, and in an amazing coincidence (sure), so is the third edition of the tabletop miniature wargaming rules which shipped yesterday. ... d-edition/

Good on the TL:DR at the end. One could also add Too little too late, in particular after the botched release of FOG v2. A substantial number of the FOG tourney crowd in the US has shifted to ADLG and not without good reason. ADLG is a streamlined mash up of FOG and the various DBx systems which has gotten a good balance between detail and playability or finishing a game in a 2 hour tournament time limit. FOG also still requires a lot of figures which can be a barrier in 28mm scale anyway. All my FOG armies were 15mm and with ADLG I am using 28mm as well.

Having said all that I am playing and enjoying the FOGII PC game!
