2018 was a great year for computer war gaming for me; I picked up more games this year then ever before; and most of them were traditional hex based war games.

-Covilization 6: Rise and Fall
-Seven Years War
-Republican Bayonets on the Rhine
-Campaign Stalingrad Gold
-Campaign Moscow 42 Gold
-Campaign Kharkov 43 Gold
-Panzer Battles of North Africa
-Panzer Battles of Normandy
-Campaign Petersburg
-Camapgin Gettysburg
-Field of Glory + expansions.

Nothing on this list is ???newish??? in terms of mechanics, although Field of Glory does an interesting job of marrying graphics to a static, turn based table top gaming system. Yeah i???m 58, but what does the hobby have to do to move forwards and get new people?

Tom
