If you’re a pewter pusher like me, it was Jim Rose and Talonsoft that got you into computer wargaming.

Thank you for the review!

Just an FYI to the fans out there:

Vietnam will be released later this year (2019).

Middle East will receive an update bringing it to Vietnam standards following that.

East Front III (2020-2021), West Front II(2022?) and Pacific Front(2023?) will be released over the course of the next handful of years.

Lastly, Cold War will wrap up the core games of the series.

DLC's to follow for each title.

Great revisit! The CS has been overlooked in the past and for a long time I thought I was the only one who loved the games. When I found that Matrix still sold them I found an active community that also loves the games. I can say CS:Middle East is awesome and I can't wait the others to come out. The whole series is a great investment of your time!

This brings back memories of 90s gaming. I was a playtester for Rising Sun and the Talonsoft Napoleonic titles.

I played West Front and East Front years ago and still have the original disks. Recently I downloaded the Tiller Software demo of Panzer Battles and I prefer the look of EF and WF. It is a surprise that a series like Panzer Battles is actually inferior graphic wise than a series from more than 20 years ago.
