Fun fact: The Via Egnatia is a road that was built in Macedon sometime between 140 – 120 BC.

For anyone that's interested, the header photo is a snap from my own personal copy of the Ordnance Survey's special 'Roman Britain' map. which shows the known (and guessed) locations of Roman towns, forts, roads etc... tis pretty cool.
