Every year is the 25th, 50th or whatever anniversary of some major human conflict, and 2020 is no exception.

Both Strategic Command World War I Classic Breakthrough and Operational Art of War III have decent Franco-Prussian War scenarios.

Also, the old Age of Rifles game has some good scenarios recreating battles of the Franco-Prussian War.

Holy crap, Cromwell, you remember Age of Rifles??? I had that game and yes, I have played the FPW scenarios. Doubt even if I could find it, it wouldn't run on my machine now.

Lord if you've played AOR, that means you're as old . . . I mean, distinguished . . . as I am, and that's scary.

Been wargaming since 1970! Age of Rifles runs pretty well under DOSBox. Still one of my favorite battle games.
