Note A: Having advanced as far as Kharkov and obliterating two of my armies, the Cossacks had pulled back a bit. I think this was so that they could confront the rising threat of Ukrainian Nationalists and Nestor Makno’s ‘Black’ Anarchist forces who were filling the power vacuum left by Germany’s departure, although the French had also turned up at this point so I'm not sure. The end result though is that the White's had clear movement East-West, as the Cossacks didn't try and press the attack.
Note B: This is important to note because, after having talked to another umpire on another map, he mentioned he would have resolved things very differently, The outcome would have been completely different!
"Determining the appropriate level of influence in somebody else's war is never a simple matter."
