My favorite LEGO sets are invariably the ones I can't afford, so I've been waiting for the chance to trawl 2025's Black Friday sales and see if the time's finally come to pull the trigger on half my wish list. And, folks, my credit card is out, because there's between 15% and 60% off a whole swathe of nerd focused sets, including some real biggies. Read on for 20 of the best deals I've spotted in the US and UK!
I'm going to rip the band-aid off right up top: the strongest deals I've dug up this year are all from Amazon UK, including most of the real Big Ticket sets. There's over £200 off one that's normally among the world's most expensive Lego sets! But never fear, because I've still found a range of delightful savings for those of us stateside, across Amazon and the LEGO store.
Both sides of the Atlantic, there's an honestly surprising crop of mid-range Star Wars Lego sets with a quarter off list price or more, including the very first ship ever seen in Star Wars (Bail Organa's Tantive IV); Battle Droid STAP skimmers from The Phantom Menace; and (for the Brits) 33-44% off R2-D2 and C-3PO. Be still, my beating heart!
Black Friday Lego deals in the USA

US fans might not be saving quite as many dollars as the Brits are pounds, but there are still some excellent Black Friday treats to nab.
PAC-Man arcade machine - 30% off on Amazon US
A proper treasure for retro gamer pals, and one we've rarely seen on discount - over 80 bucks off this bad boy is a deal and a half. Yes, it is interactive: the joystick moves four ways, the coin slot lights up, and the level's maze, ghosts, and food can be moved about at your whims. Sadly, no, it doesn't actually work to play Pac-Man on - but did you really, honestly, expect it to?
Star Wars Tantive IV - 40% off on LEGO store
The first spaceship ever seen in the Star Wars movies, Senator Bail Organa's CR90 Corvette is now one of the most iconic spacecraft in all sci-fi. LEGO's superb, 654-piece display set is a stellar replica, too, getting all the important details in despite its diminutive size. Add it to your shelf now for under 50 bucks, because it's being retired from production soon!
Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer - 25% off on Amazon
Rejoice, A New Hope fans, because the second classic Star Wars ship to appear in the movies is also in LEGO's Black Friday deals!
The number one icon of the Galactic Empire's military might in the original trilogy, the Imperial Class Star Destroyer has loads of LEGO sets to its name, from the tiny to the enormous. This 1,555 piece set sits comfortably in the middle - a big, satisfying build that won't break the bank (especially with 40 bucks off for Black Friday).
Star Wars The Phantom Menace Battle Droid with STAP - 36% off on Amazon
I love Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and I will happily defend that position any day (dissenters are most welcome to come debate it with me in the free Wargamer Discord community).
One of the many reasons for that is the fantastic, preposterous STAP skimmers ridden by the Trade Federation's B1 Battle Droids. They're ridiculous, they're very good in Star Wars Legion battles, and this 1,088 piece LEGO version is a perennial favorite, well worth picking up at 50 bucks under the regular price!
Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle - 20% off at LEGO Store
Personally, I don't think Kylo Ren's bat-winged emo adaptation of the classic Lambda Class Shuttle is cooler than the original, but it honestly still slaps, as far as sequel era ships go. At 56 bucks, down from 70, it's a great deal and a very respectable addition to any collection.
Super Mario Battle with Roy at Peach's Castle - 30% off at LEGO Store
As someone whose very first console videogame was Super Mario 64, I have a soft spot for anything Mario. Sure, Roy (previously thought of as Bowser's son, but now classified merely as a non blood related Koopaling) isn't as epic as the Real Deal Bowser. But this is still a brilliant playset, with a lovely representation of Peach's Castle, flags, stained glass window, and all. It's retiring soon, too, so get it at 30% off while you can.
Wednesday & Enid's Dorm Room - 50% off at LEGO Store
Netflix's Wednesday series rocks. It's a well done, rollicking re-do of the Addams Family mythos, the vibes are on point, and Jenna Ortega is an excellent lead. For that reason, despite having deeply odd 'Minidolls' instead of proper LEGO minifigures, this soon to be retired 750-piece set of Wednesday and Enid's Nevermore dorm room calls to me. At half price, why not, eh?
Animal Crossing Lego sets - up to 60% off at LEGO Store

The Danes' range of officially licenced Animal Crossing Lego sets are, unarguably, a hoot for AC mega fans. But, like many of Lego's fandom based crossover sets, they're not going to be around forever, and all are retiring from production soon. The good news is, that means they're all on superb LEGO Store discounts for Black Friday!
Animal Crossing K.K.'s Concert at the Plaza - 60% off
Animal Crossing Fly with Dodo Airlines - 40% off
Animal Crossing Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House - 40% off
Animal Crossing Able Sisters Clothing Shop - 20% off
Black Friday Lego deals in the UK

Now this is where the fun begins (for those with access to Amazon UK, anyway) because the Brits have been given tasty savings on some of the best Lego sets ever made. Sorry, everyone else!
As always, the bigger and sexier the set, the smaller the discount percentage, even now in peak deal season. But even a 15% price cut on those heart achingly tempting Lord of the Rings mega-sets is enough for me to be seriously considering Rivendell. Again.
Star Wars C-3PO - 44% off
I got a LEGO Technic version of C-3PO for Christmas as a young lad, and it was so good I still remember it now, as a 33 year old lad. This 1,138 piece set isn't Technic - which means it's easier to build and makes a better looking display piece when you're done, in my opinion. A full £55 off the asking price is a wild discount, too.
Star Wars R2-D2 - 33% off
OK, so I have a bone to pick with Amazon on its product description, which calls this fantastic looking 1,050 piece model of R2-D2 - possibly the least gendered character I can think of - a "gift for 10+ Year Old Boys".
But, leaving capitalism's outmoded gender concepts aside, getting £30 off this (presumably best selling) set is not an opportunity to miss. It even comes with a minifigure of Knights of the Old Republic's Darth Malak! For some reason!
Star Wars Chopper Astromech Droid - 36% off
This funky little droid, which you may remember from Star Wars: Rebels and the Disney+ Ahsoka series, is never going to command the same fame as R2, but it's packed with fun little details to build (including those posable claw arms, of course). If you've already got R2, or just really like Ahsoka and/or Rebels, getting this set £35 less than RRP seems like a no brainer.
Star Wars Acclamator-Class Assault Ship - 39% off
Don't want to shell out for the unmanageably massive UCS versions of Star Wars ships? There are dinky ones too - and this prequel era Republic craft looks a rather tasty choice at under £30!
Star Wars AT-ST Walker - 25% off
The Galactic Empire's stupidest war machine belongs on every Star Wars Lego collector's shelf, especially if you can save £45 getting it in the sales, like now. Just don't keep any big heavy wooden logs nearby, they hate those.
Disney Stitch with Ice Cream Cone - 38% off
I'm not a Disney guy, generally. But even I can appreciate a bit of Stitch, and this LEGO rendition of one of the cutest movie aliens ever has a lot going for it. At 730 pieces, it's a good project for older kids around the 9-10 mark - and the final model has a posable neck, ears, and ice cream-wielding arm! Black Friday knocks it from £60 to under 40, too.
Lord of the Rings: Barad Dûr - 15% off
OK, we're getting to the mega sets now. LEGO's enormous representation of Sauron's citadel is the size of a toddler, and all 2.7 feet of it clamshells open to reveal multiple entire rooms depicting LOTR scenes and assorted playable bits and bobs.
That 15% discount doesn't sound like a lot, until you realize that's £60 off the normal £400 price tag. This is, I think, the ultimate nerdy Christmas present this year (certainly the one I want) and if you've been watching it, now's a good time.
Lord of the Rings: Rivendell - 15% off
For those put off by Barad Dûr's rather ponderous height, or just the prospect of a monolith of black plastic in their living room, LEGO's Rivendell set is just as special, just as much a once in a lifetime build, and makes a significantly less divisive decoration for your home.
Despite being wide rather than tall, Rivendell is actually about 500 bricks larger than Sauron's tower, at 6,167 pieces total - so it's a bit more expensive. But this 15% Black Friday discount cuts £65 off the price, so, again: if you've been wantin' it, opportunity is knocking.
Zelda Great Deku Tree - 15% off
Remember when I said Mario 64 was my first ever videogame? The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was, I think, my third or forth, so I was more than a little jazzed when I found out this LEGO Great Deku Tree set is a 2-in-1 that can build either the Breath of the Wild version or the original OOT boi.
This set's way more affordable than Lord of the Rings giants, too - with the 15% Black Friday discount, it's £221 right now. Less than a Switch 2!
Well, that's your lot this year - if you find any brilliant Lego deals we missed, please swing by the Wargamer Discord and let me know! If you do, stick around, because there are always tabletop game and hobby discussions of every sort going on - not to mention near weekly live AMAs from game designers, giveaways, and more.
