While I could sit and talk about my favorite Pokémon cards, dissecting the reasons I prefer the upcoming Mega Dragonite SIR over the Mega Charizard X ex SIR, it's not a secret that the franchise seemingly spans across every form of media. From videogames to those hundreds of cuddly toys on your bed, our favorite pocket monsters are everywhere, and this Black Friday, treat someone else (or yourself) to some Pokémon goodies while they're on sale.
As Wargamer's self-proclaimed Pokéxpert (sorry, rest of the team, I'm calling myself that now), I've found a bunch of deals, covering Pokémon TCG goodies (of course) and some other goodies for your home, too. If you don't want to spend ages scouring the internet for some worthy Black Friday discounts on our favorite multi-billion-dollar franchise, well, good, because I've done it for you!

Pokémon Mega Dream ex booster box
I'm kicking this list off strong with the latest set for Japan - Pokémon Mega Dream ex. This is the Japanese equivalent of the upcoming special set for early next year, and if you've been thinking about making your Pokémon Ascended Heroes pre-orders, this is essentially the easiest way to get it early.
There's no shortage of gorgeous chases here, from the breathtaking Mega Dragonite ex SAR, the first ever Budew Art Rare, and well, plenty more. There are also different reverse holos to collect, and overall, it's an exceptional expansion full of amazing additions to your collection. What's even better is that you'll get bragging rights over your friends who are sitting there, twiddling their thumbs waiting for Ascended Heroes to arrive. Losers.
The Mega Dream ex booster box is currently below market price on TCGPlayer, so make sure to put in your orders. It's also worth noting that TCGPlayer is offering 10% store credit for any purchases over the Black Friday weekend, so that's a neat little bonus, too.

Pokémon Phantasmal Flames Elite Trainer Box
After a year full of excellent expansions, I believe Phantasmal Flames might be my favorite. Great pull rates? Check. Beautiful chases? Check. More Charizard? I'm getting a bit sick of that dumb fire dinosaur, but yes. It caps off the English sets for this year in a spectacular way, and with my glowing Phantasmal Flames review, there's no reason to pass on this Elite Trainer Box deal from Walmart.
Right now, Walmart is offering the ETB for just $79.95, which is cheaper than the market value and Amazon. However, once this stock is gone, there are other deals to be had from TCGPlayer, so I'd suggest keeping your eyes on the selling platform for any potential bargains, especially as Phantasmal Flames cards drop in price, too. For those in the UK, the ETB is also in stock on Amazon through an invite system, but that's retail price, so it's worth trying to get.
Buy the Phantasmal Flames ETB from Walmart (US) or Amazon (UK).

Pokémon Destined Rivals booster box
Despite being a standard set, Pokémon Destined Rivals is easily one of the most expensive packs to buy in terms of market value. However, we've found some hope in the chasms of despair: Walmart. That's right, once again, Walmart is beating the market value, delivering 36 packs of Team Rocket goodness (or badness) for $359.99. That's a lot of money, of course, but it's way better than the $400+ most sellers are asking.
Whether you're chasing that Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex SIR or you're just hoping to savor the satisfaction of ripping Destined Rivals packs after a long year, this is a good option. Like many other Pokémon TCG 'deals', this isn't a true Black Friday offer, but in all honesty, it's the best we've found for this set. So, have fun. For those in the UK, the best discounts we can find are on eBay - just make sure the seller has great feedback, and then see what you can find.

Pokémon Stellar Crown booster box
Underrated. That's the word I would use to describe Stellar Crown, and while it wasn't too popular prior to the hype bubble for the Pokémon TCG, it's finally got its time in the spotlight now. A gorgeous Squirtle Illustration Rare is the major chase, but there are plenty of other adorable, binder-worthy cards in there to collect.
It's never too late to join the Stellar Crown love, and right now, TCGPlayer has some Pokémon Stellar Crown booster boxes below market price, offering 36 packs of this underrated gem. It was my favorite booster box to rip last year, and honestly, I wish I had bought more.

Pokémon cards
If you're not looking to gamble with ripping packs, and you instead want to finish that master set of whichever expansion is your preference right now, TCGPlayer has plenty of Pokémon cards to buy. From those double rare hits to the elusive SIRs, there's no shortage of singles to buy from TCGPlayer - including the latest and greatest of Phantasmal Flames.
Best of all, with TCGPlayer's ongoing Black Friday celebrations, you'll get 10% store credit on those purchases, and with no shortage of sellers trying to undercut each other, there's a good chance you'll find some below market value. Personally, I keep fighting the urge to buy Paldean Fates' Mew ex #232, but I also don't want to sell my house right now.

Pokémon Legends Z-A
If you're finding it disheartening trying to catch those TCG deals, well, you can find plenty of the cutest Pokémon in the latest game for the franchise - Pokémon Legends Z-A. Available on both Switch and Switch 2, this entry kicked off the current Mega Evolutions era of the Pokémon TCG, and while there are no below-retail deals on the trading card game, there is a deal on Legends already.
Right now, you can grab the Switch version of Pokémon Legends Z-A for just $46.99 / £39.85 at Woot! (US) or ShopTo (UK), or the Switch 2 version for $59.99 / £44.99 at Walmart (US) or Amazon (UK), respectively. Considering Switch exclusives rarely go on sale, and the current market for Pokémon products, this is a fantastic discount that I strongly recommend if you own Nintendo's console.

Pokémon Squishmallows
After ripping seemingly endless amounts of packs and not getting that coveted chase that I'm after, the first thing I do is cry. But the second thing I do is give my good ol' Pokémon Squishmallows a hug. From Pikachu to Eevee, Rowlet to Chansey, there's no shortage of gorgeous, soft Pokémon Squishmallows on sale right now, and if you're looking to have some comfort after a poor pack-ripping, this is a great little cuddly for yourself. Or your family, I guess, if you're the generous type.

Pokémon Mega Building Toys
Not to be confused with the mega versions of Pokémon, the Mega Pokémon building toys are the best way to get a Lego-like experience before those exciting official sets come out in 2026. Not only are there plenty of options, from building your very own stadium to a large Pikachu or Charizard, but they all look and feel fantastic to build, and they're much cheaper than Lego. So, that's a plus.
Alternatively, if you just want to get your hands on some standard Lego sets, our Lego Black Friday deals hub has a variety of deals to pick from. Of course, no Pokémon there just yet, but it's a solid option if you're just wanting to build something neat to display.

We're also sharing plenty of other deals over at our Wargamer Discord server, so whether you're a Trainer looking for the best Pokémon deals or you're someone into plenty of hobbies from D&D to Warhammer 40k, make sure to join our community and grab some bargains over Black Friday. Now, after such a long article, I think I need Jigglypuff to sing me to sleep.
