While I love Pokémon booster boxes for the hope that more packs will equal higher chances at those pulls, there's something seriously fun about opening a collection product and ripping a variety of packs. That's the case with the Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection, giving you 18 glorious packs of potential hits at under the market price value right now, with boosters from Destined Rivals to Surging Sparks.
It's been a hectic year to get your hands on any of the best Pokémon packs at retail price, and if you've been unlucky enough not to get them straight from the stores, chances are you've been hoping on restocks or finding 'deals' below the average market price. That includes:
- Two Surging Sparks boosters
- Four Journey Together boosters
- Four Destined Rivals boosters
- Four Mega Evolutions boosters
- Four Phantasmal Flames boosters
Personally, I love having a selection of packs. It makes the experience of chasing each set's most expensive Pokémon cards fun, as you have different pulls from each expansion. Whether you're going for Destined Rivals' Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex #231 or the gorgeous Mega Gardevoir ex #178 from Mega Evolutions, there's a great selection of this year's biggest hits here.
You also get some neat little extras, too. Two promo cards, each featuring Mega Charizard X ex or Oricorio ex, a beautiful playmat featuring Mega Charizard X, some Mega Charizard X card sleeves, and a deck box or a metal coin featuring, you guessed it, Mega Charizard X. I think if I say it too many times, he might appear.
