Love it or don't have any, Prismatic Evolutions is easily one of 2025's most recognizable expansions for the Pokémon TCG. The bright white design with a vibrant array of colors is tantalizingly premium, and considering the 'special set' nature of Prismatic, it's undoubtedly hard to buy. If you're looking to get some packs at below market price, well, now's your chance! I've found two Prismatic products cheaper than the going rate- perfect timing for Black Friday.
While it's not my favorite of this year's Pokémon sets, its toughest chase cards are magnificent, making it easily one of the strongest picks for those who feel lucky. The various Eeveelution SIRs are some of the most beautiful, breathtaking singles of the entire Scarlet & Violet era, and there's even more hits to be had with the Master Ball reverse holos.
It's a rather difficult expansion for the Pokémon TCG - both getting it at all, and in terms of pull rates for those pesky SIRs - but when you get one, it's unspeakably exciting.
There's no shortage of brilliant chases to hope for in Prismatic Evolutions. Umbreon ex #161 remains the expansion's most coveted pull, with the SIR keeping the hype of Evolving Skies' Umbreon VMAX Alt Art. There's also the other Eeveelutions, such as Sylveon ex #156 or Leafeon ex #144 to pull, all of which are stunning and perfectly highlight each 'Mon's elemental type.
Most of the products from the Prismatic Evolutions line have skyrocketed in price, but there are still chances to get them below the current market price. If you're the sort of collector who values all of the little goodies, for example, there are listings of the Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection for around the $120 mark on TCGPlayer, which includes an adorable figure, two promos, and 11 Prismatic Evolutions booster packs.

Alternatively, if you want as many packs as you can get, the Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions mini tin display case gives you a total of 16 packs or a great-looking display piece for below market price at TCGPlayer, too. It's sitting around an average price of $200 from regularly sold listings, but there are a few around the $180 mark that you could potentially snag.
It's still a serious chunk of change for Pokémon cards, of course, but we collectors are used to that in the current market. These are cheaper than any similar listings I could find on Walmart or Amazon, so even if they're not true Black Friday sales, they're still cheaper than some of the biggest retailers in the world - making them a major deal in my book (or binder, I suppose).
If only there were some true discounts off the retail price, but that's only true in a parallel universe where the Pokémon TCG hobby didn't careen into overpriced chaos in 2025. Maybe if we had the power of the Ultra Beasts, we could go there, wouldn't that be nice…
Anyway, back in reality, we're going to be sharing plenty of deals over the Black Friday weekend!
