Thank the Maker! Star Wars: Andor Season 2 is finally out today (or the first few episodes, at least), and I'm celebrating the only way I know how: in miniature. That's to say: you can buy, paint, and love tiny versions of some of the coolest Andor characters (both from the TV series and Cassian's debut in Rogue One) as minis in the Star Wars Legion and Shatterpoint tabletop games – and I'm going to rank them by how deadass cool their models are.
Tragically, most of the biggest badasses in Cassian's tale, like the magnificent Mon Mothma, don't yet have minis in either Star Wars Legion, or its newer, more duel-focused sibling Star Wars Shatterpoint -so I'll make my impassioned pleas for them to publisher Atomic Mass Games, too.

If you're completely new to Star Wars' tabletop miniature wargames, don't panic – there's no rules, dice, or stats here, I'm running on pure vibes. But also, you should totally try some of the bangers in our list of the best Star Wars board games – we've got to do something while we wait for episode four, right?
Oh, and before we get into the rankings, my credentials: I think The Last Jedi is better than The Force Awakens, and Rogue One is the second best Star Wars movie, beaten only by The Empire Strikes Back. Disagree? I await you in my throne room aboard the Wargamer Discord community – take up your Jedi weapon and strike me down!
So, here's every character in Cassian Andor's story that you can get official minis for, ranked from least to most rad.
7. Cassian Andor (Shatterpoint)
Right off the bat, Andor's Star Wars Shatterpoint model is bang average for me, when it comes to cool factor. It's more detailed than its Legion predecessor, and the blaster rifle is peak, but the static pose isn't doing much for me. There's just too much 'generic leading man' here, and not enough ducking, diving, underdog hero. C+, see me after class.
Radness: 5/10
6. Jyn Erso (Legion)
The fantastic protagonist supported by Andor in Rogue One, Jyn Erso is a bona fide badass. Her Legion model is looking a mite dated these days, but still shows her as the determined survivor she is, shock truncheon swept back ready to bash in some Imperial heads.
For now, this is your only pick for a Jyn tabletop miniature – but not for long! She's getting a brand new, detailed model for Shatterpoint later this year as part of the This Is Rogue One squad pack, along with fellow fan favorites Chirrut Îmwe and Baze Malbus. Check out our Star Wars Shatterpoint roadmap guide for more info.
Radness: 6/10
5. Leia Organa (Shatterpoint)
OK, so Princess Leia's involvement in Andor's story (for now) is limited to receiving the secret Death Star plans in CGI form at the end of Rogue One. But she is in it, so I'm using that as an excuse to include her pretty awesome Shatterpoint model, depicted right before jumping in the trash compactor in A New Hope.
Of the three currently available Star Wars miniatures for Leia, this is the only one that features space buns, and the defiant pose rocks (even if the stormtroopers were shooting to miss).
Radness: 6/10
4. Cassian Andor (Legion)
The Star Wars Legion miniature for Cassian Andor is older than its Shatterpoint counterpart, but I give it two more coolness points, simply because the pose (backing onto a wall and peeking out of cover) and costume (fluffy hooded environment gear from Rogue One) do a much better job of capturing him as a cautious, survivalist operative, rather than a dollar store Han Solo. Also, the beard is better.
Radness: 7/10
3. Director Orson Krennic (Shatterpoint)
The Star Wars canon teaches us that bad guys can be cool too – but you might think that sneering, venal, cowardly, manipulative genocide enthusiast Director Krennic would be an exception. You would be wrong.
As well as primary antagonist in Rogue One, Krennic is a big part of Andor Season Two, and you can bet on him being a slippery, power grabbing amoral worm.
But we're judging based on the vibes of the miniature here, remember – and Krennic's Shatterpoint mini (released just recently in the Deploy The Garrison squad pack) is gorgeous. Just look at that crisp, cream uniform and immaculate cape. 100% smash.
Radness: 7/10
2. K2-SO (Shatterpoint)
We're in the god tier of Andor Star Wars miniatures now – and it contains only one character: K2-SO. As so many fans have correctly said, Alan Tudyk's sarcastic reprogrammed KX-series security droid is the best character in Rogue One – and he's joining the TV show in Andor Season 2!
There are two main K2-SO minis available, and this Shatterpoint variant – hunched and small-headed in the game's signature style – comes a close second. The in-motion pose is superb: head twisted to face an oncoming stormtrooper; right arm crooked, ready to stomp up to them unnaturally quickly, pick them up by the head and throw them ten feet into a wall.
Radness: 9/10
1. K2-SO (Legion)
It's a close run thing, but Star Wars: Legion's version of K2-SO is the coolest. It's not complicated; the pose is just more him. Pointing a gun at someone from a casual pose, head lazily tilted down to eye up the target, his other hand hung nonchalantly by his side – these things scream K2-SO.
This is a guy that strolls into rooms and blasts troopers without looking, then makes sardonic quips to Cassian over the commlink without missing a beat – like a sassier, deadlier, more self-actualized version of Douglas Adams' Marvin the Paranoid Android. I love him – and so I love this model.
Radness: 10/10
And, with regret, that's your full starter pack of Andor related character miniatures right now (unless you count the various versions of Darth Vader based on his Rogue One cameos, which somehow feels even more like cheating than including Leia).
With Andor Season Two already garnering sparkling reviews, though – and Star Wars Legion going through something of a renaissance right now – I'm holding out hope for this roster to grow in the next couple of years. Already confirmed for the Star Wars Legion roadmap in early 2026 is Grand Moff Tarkin – another mega important character in the Galactic Civil War era who's in Rogue One, yet still lurking in the wings within the Andor TV show.
But there are so many Andor-adjacent characters just crying out for models. Just off the top of my head, I'd love to see Legion or Shatterpoint minis for:
- Mon Mothma
- Saw Gerrera
- Kino Loy
- Dedra Meero
Hear my plea, Atomic Mass – let the best Star Wars TV series have a few more iconic characters in miniature form. The galaxy's the limit, eh?
If you've got a thing or two to say about my choices above, think I've made an inexcusable mistake of omission, or if you're simply watching Andor Season 2 right now and want to hype with us – come discuss this article in the Star Wars sector of the Wargamer Discord community! I won't change my mind about The Last Jedi, though, whatever you say.
