500 Worlds: Titus

Warhammer 40k Wardens of Ultramar miniatures Arguably the biggest reveal of the night, Captain Titus finishes his redemption arc and is officially a Captain again. Notably, a Captain of the 2nd Company, with many esteemed warriors and even non-Astartes in his retinue. Names include Ancient Gardiel, Veteran Sergeant Metaurus, fleet commander Gaius Silva, Legatus Amelian Minervas, diplomat Lucia Vestha, and finally, astropath Dainal Kornelius.

While there's no denying it's yet again Games Workshop pushing their beautiful blue boy scouts, I love Captain Titus' crew here. Unlike most Space Marines on the tabletop, his Wardens of Ultramar are a wonderfully diverse bunch. It showcases Titus' wisdom in utilizing every asset against galactic threats, plus it's cool to see non-smurfs among the cool guys.

Oh, and among said threats are Destroyer Lord Nekrosor Ammentar and C'tan, Shard of  the Nightbringer. These are the perfect models to kickstart 500 Worlds: Titus, the upcoming major narrative expansion for Warhammer 40k.

Champions of the 41st Millenium

While the 42nd Millenium remains the mainline focus, the 41st still has champions to spare.  The Leagues of Votann gain a new Ork-killing badass, Berehk Stornbrow, who hoists an Ork head in his new model. Next, the Tau empire fields two ace pilots collectively known as the Twin Lance. Some even say they rival Commander Farsight in close quarters mayhem, a rarity among Tau. Finally, the space bugs get a new Tyranid Prime model, whip in hand to command the ravenous flock.

Necromunda: Ozostium Aranthus

Warhammer 40k Necromunda Ozostium Aranthus

Necromunda is a regal yet brutal setting, and its ruler, Ozositum Aranthus the Divine Prince, encapsulates that perfectly. From afar, he is a golden figure of royalty, and nobody can question his presence. Yet up close, one can see rotten flesh and metal underneath the gilded armor. Unmasked, he is every bit the undead terror he truly is.

Other miniatures include Hive World regulars such as Palanite Enforcers, Ironhead Squats, and Drill Masters. Explaining the lore for these Necromunda newcomers is a new book, The Aranthian Succession: Spire of Primus.

Warhammer: The Horus Heresy

Warhammer 30k also has some reveals of its own. Heavy Assault Cadres and Araknae Weapons Platform form the Saturnine Battle Group, a chunky set of heavy firepower. Legion Super-heavy tanks are yet another gargantuan addition to the grimy setting.

Alongside these behemoths are the smaller yet nonetheless crucial Legion Astartes Combined Arms and Solar Auxilia Battle Groups. Other notable Horus Heresy reveals are new sets of Skitarri Battle-Pilgryms, Cataphractii Terminators, as part of Breacher Squads. Finally for book fans, 12 books from the Horus Heresy saga will be compiled into a new omnibus, Horus Rising.

Go on and yap about these reveals and other Warhammer 40k goodness on the Wargamer Discord. For a refresher on the setting's many armies, the Warhammer 40k factions guide is a great starter.
