The deadline for applications is March 12

In between waging endless war, and telling timeless tales with your tabletop antics, are you an avid traveller in the wider world of TV, movies and pop culture? Do you often find your vicious 40K battles or marathon D&D sessions descend into joyful exchanges of beloved TV show quotes or extended verbal reviews of your new favourite Netflix series? Do you go to pub quizzes (alright, Zoom quizzes) and absolutely obliterate the movie round every time? Well then, chum, we might have just the career opportunity for you.

Network N, the parent company of Wargamer and our sister sites PCGamesN, The Loadout and Pocket Tactics, has just announced its latest website recruit, in the form of entertainment news and review hub The Digital Fix. Our newest sibling is going to be revamped and relaunched very soon, and Network N needs a cracking editor and a squad of staff writers to fill the new-and-improved site with pitch-perfect pop culture content and fuel its growth.

The Digital Fix’s new editor will need to be a seasoned entertainment journalist, with a good deal of experience under their belt, and a brain like IMDB (only with more sardonic comments). They’ll be responsible for managing the site (and its team) throughout the relaunch and beyond, and will have an ongoing input into its editorial strategy – which is handy, as it’ll be their job to make sure they deliver on it!

The new staff writers, meanwhile, will be dab hands at the keyboard, proactive and knowledgeable entertainment reporters able to consistently turn around sparkling content (and the odd hot take) to tight deadlines.

Network N is (we promise we’re not being forced to say) an awesome place to work, with a solid range of benefits, including a competitive salary, 28 days’ holiday, a profit share scheme, and – crucially – the sublime privilege of working alongside the Wargamer team, among others.

While both roles can be done completely remotely, you must be based in the UK to apply. There are also some other formal requirements for applicants below – read them through, and, if either of these roles sounds like you, don’t dither – the deadline is March 12, so get your applications in right away!
